Logic AND Gate Tutorial

An AND right of entry accepts two input signals. If the two input values for an AND confession are both 1, the output is 1; instead, the output is 0.

Two-input AND GATE

An AND gate may be a logic circuit having 2 or additional inputs and one output. The output of AN AND gate is HIGH only all of its inputs square measure within the HIGH state. altogether alternative cases, the output is LOW. once taken for a positive logic system, this implies that the output of the AND gate may be a logic ‘1’ only all of its inputs square measure in logic ‘1’ state. altogether alternative cases, the output is logic ‘0’. The logic image and truth table of a two-input AND gate square measure shown in Fig-1 and Fig-2 severally.

Two-input Transistor AND Gate

A simple two-input logic gate is often made exploitation RTL Resistor-transistor switches connected along as shown below with the inputs connected on to the semiconductor unit bases. each transistor should be saturated “ON” for AN output at Y.
