How to make 12V to 220v Inverter | Mini Inverter Project

Scientifically speaking, the transformer in an inverter must have a 1:19 turn ratio in order to convert 12V DC to 220V AC line. The inverter works by switching back and forth the direction of the DC input very quickly to complete the DC to AC conversion system.

You can use an Inverter for converting 12V DC to 240V AC. It is obviously going to result in low power but will be OK for charging cameras/ laptops etc when driving (the battery will die very quickly if you are not charging at the same time).

It changes the input to give you a different output side and allows you to have mains or household power in your vehicle. Power inverters take a DC power source, your vehicle battery, and turn it into AC power with an output voltage of 240 Volts power supply.

An inverter converts DC to AC, while a rectifier converts AC to DC line. They are usually composed of switches, diodes, transistors, or other components that can control the flow of current flow.

First of all the inverter will recharge the power from the battery, power from the battery is VDC power, not VAC power, so we need to use the inverter to convert VDC power to VAC power: the inverter will convert 12v DC to 12v AC, then through the transformer.
