Frequently asked questions
Photoresistors, also known as light-dependent resistors (LDR). There are light-sensitive devices most often used to indicate the presence or absence of light. or to measure the light intensity.
LDRs (light-dependent resistors) are used to detect light levels system. in automatic security lights. Their resistance decreases as the light intensity increases level. In the dark and at low light levels system. the resistance of an LDR is high, & little current can flow through it.
There are different types of electronic equipment that can be used as color sensor systems. Electronic components like LDRs and phototransistors detect light control by changing their behavior based on the intensity reflected on them.
Photoresistors, also known as light-dependent resistors (LDR). are components made of semiconductors. A photoresistor is sensitive to light. Its resistance decreases when lighting increases. Photoresistors have multiple uses, for example, automatic door-opening systems.
Since an LDR is an analog component. it absorbs light and converts it into a single analog value that lies between 0-255.
