Frequently asked questions
Make a water level indicator at home. This circuit is soo simple that anyone could easily make one. It can be used along with containers or water tanks of any dimension and can be modified to ring an alarm instead of LEDs.
This circuit diagram to 5 Transistor using water Level indicator Project. Using the 5 LED lights to level test show for DC line control circuit for the low-cost project.
A terminal of all the transistors one by 1 in water and also add the +ve 5v terminal of the battery to the water tank, a current in micro Ampers starts flowing via base terminal.
A Tank water level in the mug or tank rises the other base terminals also get connected to the battery via water and thus other LEDs start glowing.
BC547 is used as a Switch. We have attached resistors of 100 Ohm at the base of transistors Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4 & Q5 to prevent the transistor from being destroyed by high current across the LEDs. When no voltage is applied at the base of transistors.
