1 switch 1 Socket connection:

This Diagram shows 1 switch 1 socket connection. 2 switches 1 socket connection plug socket and a light switch on the same circuit. So don’t worry about wiring a socket from a light switch. If it’s more convenient than wiring.

Components used to make the Single phase 1 Socket Connection:

01. SP MCB:

Single Pole Miniature Circuit Breaker

In single-pole MCB, Switching and protection are Affected in only one Phase. Single phase supply to break the phase only. A single Pole breaker is Typically used with 120-volt Circuits, and a 6-20 amps Miniature Circuit Breaker. They are constructed with one Line Wire and one Neutral wire. A Single Pole switch is the most basic General-Purpose switch that you use to Control a light or another device from one location. These Switches have 2 Brass-Colored screw Terminals Connected to the hot Power source wires. Pole refers to the number of Circuits Controlled by the Switch SP Switches Control only one Switch Electrical Circuit.

02. ELCB:

ELCB complete earth leakage circuit breaker works on earth leakage production. Usually, the ELCB circuit breaker has two cables Phase and Neutral if any load is directly connected to the earth without taking neutral from ELCB then the circuit breaker will trip automatically. Earth leakage circuit breakers are used in applications to prevent electric shock and electrical fire caused by a short circuit or overload in the control panel by automatically closing when leakage is detected.

03. Light:

Electric Light

CFL stands for Compact Fluorescent Lamp which is an improved version of tube lights of earlier days. Like tube lights, it is a vacuum glass tube with fluorescent powder coating which is not as long and straight as tube lights but curved/twisted compact, or small in size. Like a tube light, it has electrodes or filaments at both ends. But in this case, instead of a choke, there is an electronic circuit that drives the Compact Fluorescent Lamp. Because the red wave is less in the light of the Tubelight and Compact Fluorescent Lamp, the object looks a little pale or the correct color of the object does not appear.

04. Switch:

An SPST (Single Pole Single Throw) Switch is a Switch That only Has a Single Input and can Connect Only to one Output. This means it Only Has one Input Terminal and Only 1 Output Terminal. A Switch is a Mechanical or Controlling Device That Changes the Flow of Current Direction or Interrupts the Flow of Current Within a Circuit diagram. An electrical line using Single Pole Single Throws (SPST) is Perfect for on-off switching. When the SPST is closed, the Circuit is Closed and the light from the lamp switches on the system. When The Single Pole Single Throw (SPST) is then opened, the light from the lamp goes out and the Circuit is off.

5. 2 Pin Socket:

Board Socket

A Power Socket is a Device to Which Electrical Devices Can Be Connected to Receive the Electric Current Required For Their Operation. Connected by a System of Cables to a Power Source, Usually, an Electricity Generation Facility operated by an energy Production company, generally has no moving parts. Instead, it contains metal strips that make contact with the prongs of an Electric plug inserted into the socket. It is Through these Contacts That the Electric current is Transmitted. Electrical Devices that connect to a Power Source Through a Power Socket are Considered to be Portable Because they can easily be Connected and Disconnected From the Power Source.

Frequently asked questions

Are L1 and L2 connected in a light switch?

In the other is a position, COM and L2 are connected. Note that L1 and L2 are never connected and together. Again, some of the make of the switches may have alternative markings such as L1 L2, and L3. This type of switch is used where 2 switches control one light, such as at the top and bottom of a stairway.

What is the difference between L2 and L1 switch?

L1 switches, also known as unmanaged switches, operate at the physical layer of the OSI model. They are simple devices that do not have any management and features and are typically used to connect networks and devices together. L2 switches, also known as managed switches, operate at the data link of the layer of the OSI model.

What is a layer 1 switch?

This is the layer where we talk about high and speed or ultra-low latency. The physical layer switch isn't as smart or as flexible as a layer 2 or 3 switch but if Circuit Diagram latency is important then a physical layer switch should give you a significant and speed edge.

What is the use of the L2 switch?

Layer 2 switches are a traditional network of switch ports that operate in the network data link layer or the "layer 2" of the open systems and interconnection (OSI) model of the network are a connection. Purely operating within the network's hardware layer, these switches forward data packets based on the MAC addresses and specifications.

What is the purpose of the L2 switch?

Layer 2 switches are similar to bridges. They interconnect Circuit Diagram networks at layer 2, most commonly at the MAC sublayer, and operate as bridges, building tables for the transfer of frames among networks. and Historically, layer 2 switches emerged to alleviate the contention and problem of the shared media LANs.
