Components used to make the Star Delta Transformer connection:
The primary voltage of the transformer is 11 KV and the secondary is 0.4 KV high voltage. This is a delta star transformer, the high voltage of this transformer uses a delta connection and the low voltage uses a star connection.11KV power transformers are commonly used in power transmission substations to step down high-voltage transmission to distribution levels. 11KV transformers are more often used in distribution substations and on utility poles to further step-down voltage for supply.

Frequently asked questions
This type of connection is used, where the primary side requires a neutral terminal so that it can be grounded. The star-delta connection was mainly used in the step-down transformers, which were located at the substation end of the transmission line.
In a delta configuration, the 3 windings were connected end-to-end to form a closed path. A phase was connected to each corner of the delta. Although delta windings often operate ungrounded, a leg of the delta can be center-tapped and grounded, or a corner of the delta could be grounded.
Delta-Wye connection is common for the high-voltage and low-voltage applications. For high voltage and low current rating transformers (KVA), the Wye-Wye connection is used. The Delta-Delta connection is used for low voltage and high current flow rating transformers.
The low voltage side of the main transformer was triangulated to eliminate the 3rd harmonics. Prevent a large number of harmonics to the system, resulting in power supply grid voltage waveform distortion.
To have a closed-loop system we are using the earthed system. By using an isolated star-connected system protection of the source from earth fault will be difficult as you cannot have any measurement of neutral current flow an ungrounded system suffers from the following drawbacks.
