A two way switch wiring scheme lets a pair of SPDT switches to turn one light fixture ON or OFF in two places. It is usually applied in corridors or staircases or in big rooms which have had more than one entrance. The wiring involves a live supply with its end connected to the common terminal of the first switch, two traveler wire which is connected to the other two switches and the common terminal of the second switch which should be connected to the one leading the light fitting. The neutral is connected right to the light. Either of the two switches is flipped, which alters the current path so that either the switch can control the lighting at that switch position.
