What Is a High Power Regulated Power Supply?

A high-power regulated power supply offers a stable, controlled power supply is able to deliver high-current voltage and current that can drive high-current loads. The regulation makes the output voltage remain constant regardless of the variations in load.

Testing & Final Adjustments:

Having assembled the transformerless power supply, ensure that it is correctly connected to the AC mains and measure the DC output at the transformerless power supply with a multimeter. Make sure that the output voltage is the expected one to your load. In case the voltage is excessive, diode series capacitor or diode Zener can be adjusted or a diode Zener can be inserted. Ensure that all connections are inspected and especially the series capacitor, diodes is not overheating or faulty. Direct mains connection Direct connection to the circuit should not be touched when power is on. To make it more stable, a small filter capacitor may be attached to the output. Make sure that the current taken by the load is not more than the designed value which can cause harm to the circuit. Fasten all the parts on PCB and insulate the exposed elements to prevent unintentional touching. Transformerless power supply once tested may safely supply low-current DC to LEDs, small sensors or any other low-power devices.
